Pre-Departure

¡Hola a todos!

Welcome to my blog. This is the first post on this blog. I’m excited to see where this blog goes. I’ll hopefully be posting often during my semester abroad in Seville, Spain. If you want, you can subscribe below to get notified when I post new updates.

I leave in 10 days for Spain! I am extremely nervous and excited. I am not too stressed about the traveling aspect of getting to Seville. I hope everything goes as planned *fingers crossed*. I can´t wait to meet my host family. They seem sweet.

I can´t wait to explore Seville! From what I have googled so far, the area where I will live is really cute. I´m not too worried about walking around and getting a little lost, but I am nervous about the heat. I am also scared about making mistakes when talking to people in Spanish.

For this semester I have some goals. I hope that this semester improves my Spanish. I think I am alright with reading and writing, but my listening and speaking is a bit rough. I hope this semester helps my sense of direction. I have trouble with maps and will rely on my phone for everything. I want to be able to understand where I am and where I am going by the end of this semester. I also want to pass my courses I will be taking and travel as much as I can.
